Tasting
Eno
Vino one
of Madison’s finest wine and tapas restaurants, will
be providing this year’s wine, as well as partnering
with Hypnotiq and Pama to bring the martini bar back once again
for guests to enjoy. Capital
Brewary, Madison’s own premier
mirco brewery will once again be providing a selection of their
award winning beer. Descriptions of the distinctive wines and
beer selected for this delectable event are below.
Beer
Wisconsin Amber
Loosely based on Vienna style, Wisconsin Amber is a rich, malty
lager balanced out with mild hop bittering and enticing hop flavor.
Very fulfilling. Very drinkable.
Island Wheat
A rare brew, the Island Wheat, is enjoyed by a wide variety of
beer drinkers. Light beer connoisseurs find the refreshing mildness
to their liking. While those who prefer a more robust brew, appreciate
the complexity of the wheats used. This hazy, golden hued beer
with its dense, rocky head is sure to please.
Fest
This wonderful beer has a deep golden hue and a smooth malty flavor with
a clean pleasant finish. Imported German malts are used to create the flavor
of this festive beer.

Wine
Sycamore Lane Chardonnay 2006
The smooth, round texture and creamy apple, citrus and peach flavors
of the Sycamore Lane Chardonnay are balanced by crisp acidity, making
this Chardonnay akin in style and quality to more expensive super-premium
California Chardonnays.
Sycamore Lane Merlot 2006
Sycamore Lane produces a smooth, easy drinking style of Merlot. It
displays fresh, cherry-like varietal aromas, with hints of tobacco
and herbal spice. Medium-bodied, with a smooth texture and soft
tannins, it boasts rich, lingering flavors of cherries and plums. |
